Puru Pratap Singh, a 4th standard student in Gurgaon, has bagged the title of Google Doodle contest.Out of 4000 doodles, the 10-year-old Puru's doodle was chosen from the award.He was given Rs 1 lakh for his artistic design of Google Doodle on Children's day.
Puru's design will be available on search engine for next 24 hours today.Puru's doodle reflects the culture of India. G reflects the national bird Peacock, 'O' is our culture and another 'O' is water found on Moon. While next 'G' reflects the culture of Kashmir, L' stands for Amar Jawan Jyoti and 'E' reflects the values of Mahatma Gandhi.
Puru's design was judged by noted panel of judges, well known cartoonist and faculty of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.The doodles were evaluated on the basis of artistic merit, creativity and how well the doodle vision has been explained.
